Antonio's frescoes: an ancient art for your home
Antonio De Vito's artisan shop is in the heart of the Tuscan hills only a few steps away from where Gianbologna's Atelier and House were. On the ancient walls of a 1300's tower some unique frescoes are realized with the same techniques that belonged to the Renaissance Master Painters. These works of art can be detached from their original place and become worthy elements for decorating your homes. The artisan shop is open for those who are looking for secret aspects of Tuscany and wish to witness the realization of a fragment or an entire fresco and to buy a unique work of art created in the unforgettable atmosphere of this Atelier.
San Miniato's truffles
The area around the pretty medieval village is famous for its abundance of truffles. You can participate in the hunt following the truffle-dogs trained to find the precious tubers. Every year, on the last weekend of November, the Truffle Festival takes place in the square and little streets of the village, where stalls sell truffles of all varieties and sizes.
